This is called a bonus track because it is stylistically unlike anything else on Barbican. It's a song about roleplay- gaming that I couldn't resist tacking on. Originally conceived as a dinner-table joke, Waste 'Em With My Crossbow took on a life of it's own when the rock & roll accompaniment fell into place. Those who knew about Knights of the Dinner Table thought it was just too hilarious a prank to pass up. Serious Black owes a great debt of inspiration to Jolly Blackburn, Davis S. Kenzer, and the whole crew at KODT and Kenzer & Co. for this one. If this song is lost on you, you don't know what you're missing!
